Looking for a quick side to make for an upcoming BBQ? These quick homemade deviled eggs are a perfect side dish for any get together and come together with minimal ingredients and time.

Spring is here and we’ve already attended our first cookout of the year. We were asked to supply a side dish for a cookout last weekend and these quick homemade deviled eggs were a hit. This recipe is also great for Easter gatherings. I called my mom to ask for her recipe because sometimes nobody does it better than your mom, and her deviled eggs are one of my favorites. One of our favorite things to do together is to cook, but when we can’t cook together we just talk about recipes. We’re always sharing recipes back and forth.
Hard Boiled Eggs
Perfectly hard boiled eggs are key for this recipe. I find this easiest to achieve by using my instant pot because I can place them inside and set the timer for 5 minutes and walk away. Using boiling water on the stove works perfectly fine as well. After the eggs are boiled, transfer them to an ice bath for 5 minutes before peeling. This instantly cools the eggs and makes the peeling process a breeze. Then slice the eggs in half lengthwise, and transfer the yokes to a bowl and the eggs to a 9×13 dish.

Deviled Filling
Once all the yokes have been added to a bowl, add mayo, white vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper. Combine ingredients using a fork to mash the yokes. The mixture should be creamy once mixed. Add the filling to the center of each egg. Finish with a sprinkle of paprika over the top. You now have delicious quick homemade deviled eggs. It is as easy as that! Everyone at your next cookout will love these!
